Man: Come in, Mister Bunion. Sit down. The election returns are coming in!
Mr. Bunion: Yes, thanks! I hope the returns will show your election. I most certainly do, Major!

Man: Yes, this is.
[On Phone] The 1st, 2d, 3d, and 4th districts have fond overwhelmingly for you! Indications show the 5th, 6th, and 7th are yours also!
Man: Huh! And I feared those districts, too!
Mr. Bunion: Yes, so did I! The rest looks easy!

Man: Yes! Hello! Go ahead. Come here, Mr. bunion, and listen to this! I'm elected sure!
[On Phone] The 8th 9th 10th and 11th districts are yours with twelve districts to hear from!
Mr. Bunion: It sounds good to me! Golly I'm glad!

[On Phone] Senator Conjosh concedes all to you! There is nothing to it!
Mr. Bunion: Sure! So do I! it's all over but the cheering! You might as well hang up that receiver an let out a yell!

Man: Eh! Um! What is that, eh?
[On Phone] Returns coming in now lewd bad! The 12th 13th 14th and 15th go to the enemy!
Mr. Bunion: Come! Get your hat!

[On Phone] Don't give up! Says Senator Conjosh! There is still hope! The 16th 17th 18th 19th and 20th are lost to you. But--
Man: Is that substantial, ist it?
Mr. Bunion: Oh! What is the latest news? eh?

[On Phone] The 21st and 22nd districts are lost!!! Now, if we save the 23rd--Oh!- Wait!--The 23rd is gone to the other side--
Man: Is there no hope? Oh! Oh!
Mr. Bunion: Your election would have helped me too! Gosh!
/
Mr. Bunion: I'll help you to couch, __eh. Where is my valise? Oh! It's there! I don't want to lose it! Um!
