[Why Pay Rent? That is the big question! Why pay rent? Lots $500 and up!]
Mrs. Bunion: Here's your mail, dear. Um.

Mr. Bunion: Dear Sir- Why pay rent? Did you ever stop to think why do you pay rent? If you do you are throwing away money! Just tossing it away--
Mrs. Bunion: {out of panel} Some gentleman wants to see you, Mister Bunion!

Man #1: Ha! I came to see if I could interest you in our sale of lots up on the Heights!!!
Mr. Bunion: About all I can do is listen to you, you may interest me, that is all!
/
Mr. Bunion: Say, Martha! Come look at this! Its a map and it looks pretty good! Come look it over! One is foolish to pay rent, at that, if you think a minute!
/
Mr. Bunion: I'll tell you a person should not pay rent when such proposition exist! Look at those lots! Look at 'em!
Mrs. Bunion: I always said we were foolish to pay rent, did I not?

Mr. Bunion: Think of the rent we have paid out. Think of it.
Mrs. Bunion: Well, we should not do it any more is what I say.
/
Mr. Bunion:
Well, We won't! I've paid my last rent money to anyone! Yep! Um!
Mr. Bunion: {out of panel} Someone is at the door, I'll see who it is.
/
Man #2: Mrs. Bunion. I called to see if you wouldn't do something towards this rent bill. It is way over due and if I do not receive something today I must ask that you vacate. I am tired of being put off!
