Man: Why am I a cheerful talker? Because I am a student of Bullconno the Great Philosopher. Have you ever read his work--
Mr. Bunion: I don't get much time to read. What does he have to say?

Man: Well, he says so many bright things. One must read the work to fully absorb his teachings, his treatise on life, the ups and downs, the ins and--
/
Man: Outs of life, is one of the most delightful. As well as the most instructive productions of our literary world. After reading one--
Mr. Bunion: Does he explain why honesty, pluck and endurance are rewarded with a valise--

Man: He explains all! He tells why you are not it and how you can be it if you follow his--
Mr. Bunion: Huh! And he tells how to get rid of Dull Care. I see! Well, where did you get that book? Ah! eh--

Man: I am selling them! Cloth or leather binding, delivered on first payment of one dollar the balance one dollar a month--
Mr. Bunion: Um! Huh, I see! Well, I'll study life for nothing!

Man: You're a nice piece of furniture, you are!
Mr. Bunion: If your book is so wonderful why does it not teach you how to exist without hounding a fellow human for a dollar?
