[RACE TRACK] Mr. Bunion: I believe I'll go over there and get myself a ticket of admission, see the races and try and foreget (sic) my troubles.
/
Man: This is confidential. Understand. Hot Tar is going to win this race. Keep it quiet. You hear?
Mr. Bunion: Nothing to it, eh?
/ [HOT TAR 20/1, RUBBER 20/1, GREASE 300/1, SOUP 30/1] Mr. Bunion: I'll bet ten dollars on Hot Tar, two thousand to ten, I'd lose anyway in some other way, so whats the difference. Here you are.
/
Man: They have heard something about Hot Tar and are withdrawing, see!
Mr. Bunion: Well, they're all scratching it seems. [SCRATCHES, RUBBER, STOVE PIPE, SOUP, HOT TAR, GREASE, BANANA PEEL]
/
Man: Yes, it's a good think you got your money up in time. There! They've all back out! Ha, ha! All Hot Tar has to do to win the money now is walk around the course alone. [RUBBER, STOVE PIPE, SOUP, HOT TAR, GREASE, BANANA PEEL]
/
Mr. Bunion: We can sit here and see him do it, can't we?
Man: Yes, see him win two thousand dollars for you. Buf! Wait! Something is the trouble down there!
/
Man #2: Yes. He's dead. Dropped down dead just as he started.
Man #3: It's too bad, Joe. He's gone. He's dead.
Man #4: I hear one old guy got ten on him when the betting opened.
/
Mr. Bunion: Oh! I am forgetting! I must hurry down and pay that interest. Huh! How did I over look that?
